The International Technology Research Institute, Inc.  (dba ITRI, Inc. or ITRI2) is a small business S-corporation chartered in Delaware, and registered to do business in Pennsylvania.  It is a spin-off of Loyola College to provide research services to the Federal Government.  It originated in 1989 as a unit of Loyola College with about $500,000 per year of grants and contracts.  In 2001 it was spun off as a non-profit, and in 2008 it was reorganized as a profit-seeking small business to qualify for Small Business Administration (SBA) programs.  Several Federal research agencies have sponsored ITRI studies.
